Why Stay in Auto racing During a Down Economy?

There is one thing that almost all car manufacturers are being asked these days: are you going to continue to back your chosen race team given the fact that the worldwide economy is pretty bad? The reason for this question is the bad global economic forecast and that fact that many manufacturer already have pulled their primary sponsorship and/or decided that they were not going to be involved in auto racing any longer because of their own filing financial situations. It is not that great of a sign of the times when the manufacturers that many of the teams in auto racing (be it Formula 1, Indy Race League or the Australian V8 Supercar Series) have been pulling out of auto racing. There is much more to VW Audi news that you might find more interesting than this subject, yet this has just as much bearing as everything else that you could possibly talk about when it comes to things relating to Volkswagen and Audi.

The truth of the matter is that this is something that many people are talking about which manufacturers are doing the best and have the points lead in the Manufacturers/Constructors Championships in their favourite type of auto racing. The question of why the top manufacturers would even bother staying involved in auto racing all comes down to loyalty to the teams that they chose to ally themselves with and also to the loyalty of the fans of the many types of auto racing. IT is well known that the fans are as loyal as the manufacturers are.

Audi GT3 Brings Home The Win

Very recently we all saw that the Audi GT3 was able to amaze everyone, including the manufacturer and the drivers, when this car was able to stand up to the torture and challenge of a 24 hour endurance race in Nurburgring. There is nothing more that amazes and rewards a designer and manufacturer more that having one or more of its makes/models coming out on top in the Manufacturer’s Championship and/or the Driver’s Championships. There are many different makes and models of cars that are making their mark in the world of auto racing. The model that ran in the Nurburgring race was the Audi R8 LMS.

When you are able to run a car under the kind of conditions that are present in a 24-hour endurance race like the one that was recently run you are going to be able to rightfully say that your car can (and does) handle any type of condition that you have to drive through. Those that are running a 24-hour endurance race like this are going to be dealing with driving in the rain, fog, the dark (at night) and all sorts of other less-than-ideal conditions and doing so at speeds that are faster than you would run on the roadways (at least on some of them). You have got to stand up and take notice for a car that you have to make major changes due to leaks or parts breaking down when you least expected stuff like this to happen.

Quality Is Guaranteed With Audi Car Parts

Audi car owners who are looking to replace a part of their car can easily do so since the company manufactures and supplies its car parts all over the world. These parts are available from any Audi car part authorised dealer or any of their franchise. Another amazing fact is that, Audi encourages the dealers to sell the car parts at its original price.

Owing an Audi car is a luxury; hence the manufacturer makes sure that every car part is tested to the hilt. This ensures the smooth working of the car, and its parts need not be replaced for a long time.

Let’s focus on two of the most important Audi Car Parts

The Engine in an Audi and a Volvo was regarded as the best because of its 2.1/2.2 L engine and the inline 5 cylinder; this was in the year 1980. These engines were also used in their Audi race cars, apart from being used in the production cars. These types of engines were suitable for its race cars, and its horsepower was approximately 400. The engines later underwent transformation and another engine with displacement that was between 2.0 L and 2.3 L was introduced. This range was considered to be economical on fuel and gave great power. This has improved over the years and the engines now are considered to be the best.

Audi was not game to using the layout of the rear-wheel drive and mostly favoured the four-wheel and the front-wheel drive. The engineering to achieve this was tremendous and is mounted in a position that is “overhung”, right over the front wheels and is in front of the axle. Recently Audi has adopted the Quattro badge to its models like the TT and the A3, which uses the system of the electro-mechanical 4WD clutch.

With an Audi, you can be rest assured that the car parts won’t give away and will work smoothly for a long time.

Audi Car Parts – Luxury Requires The Best

Though Audi is considered to be a luxury car, one does not have to worry about replacing any part for a few years. But like every other car, parts have to be replaced to sustain the performance of the car. It is easy for a customer to purchase any Audi car parts from any authorised dealer or a service dealer.

It is important that a part is purchased that is only specific to the model to improve engine performance. Customers tend to buy a part specific for one model to another if that part is not available and this should be avoided. The dealers sell all the important parts of a car that includes headlights, fuel pumps, brakes and radiator. The parts are run through a quality check by Audi before being supplied to the dealers.

Audi also ensures that all its parts are sold at the original price. So, if you are not sure whether the dealers are selling the parts at the correct price, the internet has got all the information.

Unfortunately, today a lot of duplicate Audi car parts are sold at a cheaper price. Do remember, these parts will not enhance the cars performance and will only put your car a greater risk. If you are not sure about authorized dealers in your city, do visit the Audi website which gives a list of all its dealers and service centres.

It is rightly said that the luxurious require the best of parts to keep functioning well.
