The snow has hit the UK bad, but for those companies selling car leasing, they have seen a boom in applications for 4×4 vehicles and according to some, Audi is leading the way. We are talking about models like the Audi Q7 that not only looks good, but will get you through the snow better than most and in a bit of luxury too. But lets not forget the Audi Q5 and those Quattro models that pretty much won all those rallies 20 years ago or so.
The bottom line is Audi offers more than just an alternative to BMW and Mercedes, they regularly deliver better cars and if you measure the car leasing figures as a whole using brokers as a guide, very often we see Audi at the top. As far as leasing goes, Audi offers its own contract hire finance solutions, but sometimes it is worth looking through brokers for Audi car lease, because sometimes they can get better interest rates against the dealers, who have higher overheads to cover (not always though).
So if the snow is falling heavy in your area of the UK and you are sick of watching these Audi Q7’s sail past you, then may it is time for you to lease an Audi Q7, Q5 or Quattro car too.
Audi customers can look forward to lower insurance premiums and running costs according to new research.
New data from the Association of British insurers shows that Audis 50 group ratings are lower than those of their major German competitors. The database which is used to calculate insurance premiums is managed by the Motor Insurance Repair and research centre which updates the list on a monthly basis. Based in Thatcham it completes its work on behalf of ABUI and Lloyds syndicates.
The rating system uses a points system which awards penalty points to each car depending upon a number of factors. This includes purchase price and the cost of key parts. The cars are tested by putting them through an independent crash test and then repairing them. The higher cost of repair and purchase cost, the higher the score. Therefore a higher insurance group rating.
On security Audi have scored well by using features throughout its range such as its Thatcham category 1 Alarm and immobiliser and Thatcham category 4 locking wheel nuts. They also use extensive covet and overt marked parts. This enabled to reach a maximum 5 star award for theft security from the British Insurance vehicle Security Awards. In addition the company has three What car security related awards.
When it comes to marketing the Americans know how to do it more thant the Brits. Most of us are too reserved to stick ourselves in fromt of a camera, or believe we can afford TV advertsing. The reality that TV advertsing is cheaper in the States, not forgetting You Tube is a very powerful marketing tool. Here is an Audi lease ad that does not hold back on its presentation and prices. However if you lisyed quietly, you may hear a British voice over selling the Audi. Yes the yanks are better at marketing, but they still prefer a British voice (possibly). Here we aee Audis from $329 a month until you see the conditions. Only 1000 miles arew allowed at this price, you then pay 25c per mile over this not including money down. Sounds good at first, but then it looks very expensive. Great Audi marketing, but we think a it is done to get the customer into the retailer, in the hope they sign anyway.
